Geeks have long told tales about a time when a was moon so bright it blots out the stars that appear in the sky. Once a geek was approached by his own ghost on IRC and was told that the name of this myth was "Sun" before the connection was reset by a peer.

Driven by curiosity and aided by several mad scientists, the geek managed to construct a device to collect and store this strange radiation during the day and dispense it during the night in doses that would not incinerate the average geek. The result was the Sun Jar and there was much rejoicing.

On a full charge the Sun Jar will glow for five hours. It requires direct sunlight to charge, so the time might decrease during bad weather or winter.
